We want every cup to be right. Here is exactly how cancellations, returns and refunds work — including the rights the law gives you, which nothing here takes away.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Tell us within that time, then send the tea back within a further 14 days.
Because tea is a food, this right applies to unopened caddies and gift boxes with their seals intact. Sealed food that has been opened cannot be returned for hygiene reasons — the law allows this exception.
Return postage for a change of mind is paid by you. We refund the price of the tea, plus the standard delivery cost (which is complimentary in the UK anyway).
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If yours are not, you are entitled to a full refund within 30 days of delivery, or a replacement — your choice. After 30 days you are still entitled to a repair, replacement or, in some cases, a refund. We pay all return costs for faulty or incorrect items.
Please send us a photo and your order number as soon as you notice a problem — it helps us put it right quickly.
You can also cancel an order yourself from your account page any time before it is dispatched, at no cost.
We refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned tea (or evidence you have sent it back), or within 14 days of agreeing a refund where no return is needed. We never charge a fee to process a refund.
